About Clarke Allen

Clarke Allen has had many successes over the years.  In 1999, he was nominated for Entrepreneur of the Year and was a a finalist for the same award in 2001.  Charlotte Arrangements received an E.V.I.E., a Special Event Industry Award of Excellence in 2001 and another in 2006.  Charlotte Arrangements has been named as a top 25 D.M.C. by Special Events Magazine for two consecutive years and in 2006 was recognized as the inaugural services partner of the year by Visit Charlotte, part of the Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority.

Clarke Allen has been acknowledged for this support of the Arts and Science Council and for this work on Classroom Central and Business Through a Child's Eyes, projects of the Center City Area Council of the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce.

Clarke Allen is very active in the community and currently serves on the board of directors for:

• Appalachian State University Advisory Board
• Charlotte Chamber of Commerce
• UNCC Meeting Certification Advisory Committee
• The Fireman's Relief Board
• Myers Park United Methodist Church
• Carolinas' Carousel Parade

His national professional memberships include ISES, NACE, MPI, ADME, HSMAI, and HTA.

In addition to his work with Charlotte Arrangements and in the community, Clarke Allen teachs at the University of North Carolina Charlotte.
